This umami bomb combines sweet and spicy chili sauce, mushrooms. soft mozzarella pearls, and sharp kimchi to create the perfect balance.

Mozzarella cheese pearls, small, drained and blotted dry

Kimchi, prepared, drained

Cilantro leaves, de-stemmed, packed

Prep
  1. Thaw flatbread crust, covered at room temperature 15-30 minutes.
Mushroom Bulgogi
  1. Heat oil in a sauté pan over medium heat, then add mushrooms and black pepper.
  2. Sauté mushrooms until the liquid has cooked off and the mushrooms are golden brown.
  3. Transfer to a small bowl and mix with hoisin sauce and minced ginger until combined.
Assembly
  1. Spread chili sauce on the thawed flatbread, evenly covering the entire surface.
  2. Deposit Mushroom Bulgogi, mozzarella pearls, kimchi, and green onion evenly over the flatbread.
  3. Bake as directed until crust is golden brown and crispy.

Finishing
  1. Sprinkle toasted sesame seeds and gently place cilantro leaves over the flatbread.
  2. Cut each into 8 pieces and serve immediately.  

  • Garnish with an extra drizzle of chili sauce or Korean BBQ sauce for a pop of color and flavor.
