Prep
  1. Thaw baked biscuits, covered, at room temperature 30-60 minutes or refrigerated overnight.
  2. Cut biscuits into approx. 1/2-inch cubes; place on greased or parchment-lined baking sheet.
  3. Bake as directed until crispy and lightly browned; allow to cool.

*Rotate pans baked in convection oven one-half turn (180°) after 13 minutes of baking.
Assembly
  1. Add pudding and vanilla extract in a large bowl; stir together and fold in whipped topping. 
  2. Place a layer of baked biscuit pieces (0.5 oz) in the bottom of an 8 oz cup.  
  3. Layer in 1/4 cup pudding mixture (1.1 oz), and another 0.5 oz of biscuit pieces. 
  4. Add a 1 oz layer of banana slices then another layer of 1.5 oz (approx. 1/3 cup) pudding mixture.
  5. Finish with a final 0.5 oz layer of baked biscuit pieces and drizzle on 1/2 tsp dulce de leche.
  6. Chill at least 1 hour and serve cold.

  • Top with extra crushed biscuit pieces just before serving for an extra crunch.

  • A great recipe to use for leftover biscuits to reduce waste!

  • Trifles enjoyed best within 12 hours.
