New England Fruit Parfait

Dried cherries and apple slices are swirled together in tangy vanilla yogurt, then topped with apple slices and graham cereal.

  1. Pipe 1/2 cup (4 oz) yogurt in 14 oz plastic cup.
  2. Add 1/4 cup diced apples on yogurt and 1/4 cup dried cherries; stir slightly to mix fruit with yogurt.
  3. Serve topped with cereal and apple slices.

  • Substitute dried cranberries, blueberries or raisins for dried cherries or make it a dessert parfait adding 1 Tbsp marshmallows. Serve for National Apple Month in October or National Cherry Month in February or have a birthday party for Johnny Appleseed on September 26.
