Gluten-Free Spiced Pear Parfait

Cinnamon and nutmeg bring comforting flavors to slow-simmered pears that top Yoplait® yogurt in a distinctive gluten-free parfait that's surprisingly lower in fat and calories.

Pancake syrup, gluten-free

  1. Add fruit, syrup and spices to a sauce pan and simmer for 10 minutes or until the liquid has reduced and the prunes are plumped; chill.
  2. Pipe 4 oz (1/2 cup) of yogurt into each of 16, 5 oz cups.
  3. Ladle 1/4 cup of spiced pears on top of yogurt layer.
  4. Divide Rice Chex evenly across the top of the pear layers; serve chilled.
