Red Velvet Crinkle Cookies

All the moist, light deliciousness of a red velvet cake shines in these scrumptious cookies that get a head start from a brownie mix.

Red food coloring

Powdered sugar

  1. Pour water and food coloring into mixer bowl. Add brownie mix and mix on low speed for 30 seconds using paddle attachment.
  2. Scrape bowl and paddle. Mix on low speed additional 30 seconds.
  3. Place powdered sugar in a separate bowl. Drop dough, using #30 scoop into powdered sugar.
  4. Roll to evenly coat. Place in 4x6 pattern on greased or parchment-lined full sheet pans and bake.
