Raspberry Oatmeal Bars

Layered and luscious. Oatmeal and raspberry team up for an anything-but-ordinary dessert bars.

Cinnamon, ground

Butter, unsalted, softened

Raspberry preserves

Water, cool approx. 72°F

1/4 cup
Crumb Mixture
  1. Place cake mix, oats, butter and cinnamon in mixer bowl fitted with paddle attachment.
  2. Mix on low speed approx. 2 minutes until crumbly; set aside.
Assembly
  1. Press half of Crumb Mixture (4 lb 5 oz or about 12 cups) firmly into bottom of greased full sheet pan.
  2. Combine preserves and water; spread evenly in pan.
  3. Sprinkle with remaining Crumb Mixture and press firmly to flatten top evenly.
  4. Bake as directed below and cool completely before portioning.
