The Dog “8” My Biscuit

A frozen biscuit, thawed, makes a cute and clever built-in bun for a hot dog when it's twisted into a figure 8.

Yellow cornmeal
3 Tbsp
Parsley flakes, dried
1 tsp
Turkey hot dogs
1 lb 14.00 oz

  1. Place cornmeal and parsley in a small mixing bowl and stir to mix.
  2. Dust each biscuit lightly with corn meal mixture.
  3. Using index fingers, create a hole in the center of each biscuit; gently stretch to widen the diameter of the hole to about 3-inches.
  4. Twist the biscuit to form a figure 8.
  5. Insert hot dog through the two loops of the 8 (making sure the dough crosses over the hot dogs face up).
  6. Place on parchment-lined full sheet pan and bake as directed below.
