Biscuit Puffy Tacos

Taco meat, prepared, hot
1 lb 2.00 oz

Cheddar cheese, shredded

Lettuce, shredded

Tomatoes, diced

Prep
  1. Thaw biscuit dough, covered, either at room temperature 15-30 minutes until flexible or refrigerated overnight.
  2. Roll out dough into 6-inches in diameter using flour as necessary.
  3. Fry in oil preheated to 350°F using a taco fry basket (or 8-inch stainless steel turner to form a taco shape) for 2-3 minutes until deep golden brown and fully cooked.
  4. Remove from oil, drain and keep warm.
Assembly
  1. Add #20 scoop (1.5 oz) warm taco meat to fried biscuit.
  2. Top with 2 Tbsp cheese, 1/4 cup lettuce and 1 Tbsp diced tomatoes; serve immediately.

  • Garnish with a salsa of choice and Mexican-style crema if desired. Note nutritional information may change.
