Bananas Foster Mixture
  1. Cook butter, brown sugar and cinnamon in large sauté pan on medium heat; stir until sugar dissolves.
  2. Add sliced bananas and cook until soft, approx. 5 minutes, stirring frequently.
  3. Remove from heat, add rum and allow mixture to cool.
Batter
  1. Combine water and muffin mix in large mixing bowl.
  2. Fold in Bananas Foster Mixture; deposit #10 scoop of batter into greased or paper-lined muffin pans.
  3. Sprinkle evenly with brown sugar and bake as directed below; allow to cool before serving.
