Pizza Cups

Stuffed with melty mozzarella and sprinkled with Italian seasoning, these shareable bites are delightfully crispy on the outside and cheesy in the middle for comfort food made easy.

Mozzarella cheese, shredded

Italian seasoning

Red pepper flakes, crushed

  1. Spray sheet pan or dough box with pan spray, then add frozen dough balls.
  2. Spray tops of dough balls with pan spray, then cover and refrigerate overnight.
  3. Remove dough balls from refrigerator and cut each into 8 equal pieces.
  4. Roll each piece into a ball, then place dough balls into each well of 2 greased jumbo muffin pans.
  5. Spread each dough ball using your fingers to full cover the bottom of the pan and come up the sides of the pan about 1-inch.
  6. Cover with plastic and let rest for 15-30 minutes at room temperature.  
Assembly
  1. Sprinkle 1/3 cup (1.5 oz) mozzarella cheese over each piece of dough; press down firmly to tamp down cheese and slightly push the dough up the sides of the pan.
  2. Sprinkle with a pinch of Italian seasoning and a pinch of red pepper flakes.
  3. Bake as directed until golden brown; allow to cool 5 minutes in the pan, then use a pallet knife to remove and serve warm.
