Biscuit Tostadas

Our garlic cheddar biscuits are flattened and fried until crispy and ready to top with refried beans, shredded pork, a fried egg and more.

Refried beans, prepared, warm

Tostadas
  1. Thaw biscuit dough, covered, at room temperature 15-30 minutes until flexible or refrigerate overnight.
  2. Roll out to 4-inch disks on a lightly floured surface then place into deep-fat fryer preheated to 350°F.
  3. Fry 1 minute or until golden brown, then flip over and fry and additional 1-2 minutes.
  4. Remove from oil and drain; set on cooling rack.
Assembly
  1. Spread 1.5 oz (2 Tbsp) refried beans evenly on each Tostada.
  2. Layer on 0.5 oz (2 Tbsp) cheese, 3 oz (1/3 cup) shredded pork and 1 fried egg.
  3. Garnish with 1 oz (2 Tbsp) salsa and 0.75 oz (2 Tbsp) avocado; serve immediately.
